High Availability (HA)

  • VMware VMotion, VMHA, and VMDRS

    Have Virtual Servers automatically failover from one box to the next, with no manual intervention. VMHA will automatically restart Virtual Servers (VM’s) on separate ESX3 Servers in your environment. VMDRS will allow you to get a load balancing effect from V-Motioning Virtual Servers across physical servers running ESX3. This helps you avoid Virtual Server resource constraint and potential crashing during peak utilization.

  • Continuous Data Protection (CDP)

    Go beyond any previous data protection scheme and take RTO and RPO to new heights. With CDP, Nexus can provide data rewinding and IP/DNS failover to provide the ultimate in application availability.

  • Capacity Optimized Storage & VTL (faster recover from disk rather than tape)

    Go tapeless. With disk-based Virtual Tape Libraries (VTL’s) or disk-based systems that “de-duplicate” on average of 20 to 1, you have the option for higher performance and better cost efficiency.
